Cardi B revealed that the past year has brought about a significant transformation in her life, making her feel like an entirely different person.

During a recent episode of the Aspire podcast hosted by Good American CEO Emma Grede, Cardi opened up about the dramatic shifts she has experienced in recent years.
When asked about how the last few years have felt, Cardi described the past year as a rebirth, attributing this change partly to her divorce and an awakening within herself.
“Every year is different, but I feel like last year, a new person was reborn. I don’t know if it was the divorce or…something just woke me up and I feel like I’m definitely a new person.”
This revelation sparked a heartfelt discussion about her renewed drive and urgency to seize the moment. Although she didn’t explicitly link her transformation to her separation, it’s clear that this life event has reshaped her perspective on personal growth and opportunity.
“I don’t even know how to explain it…I have to do things for myself now, for real. And I gotta take things serious, for real. It’s like now or never,” she expressed.
Cardi further emphasized her determination by referring to this period as her “Jesus year,” a time when she feels divinely inspired to act decisively.
“I’m 33 years old, I’m in my Jesus year…It’s like God is telling me, it’s now or never. Take advantage of it.”
Expanding on her ambitions, Cardi discussed her upcoming haircare venture, Grow Good Beauty, which focuses on nourishing and promoting healthy hair growth.
Emma Grede highlighted the competitive landscape of celebrity haircare brands, mentioning names like Beyoncé’s Cécred, Tracee Ellis Ross’ Pattern Beauty, and Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty. Cardi responded with respect for these brands, emphasizing that effectiveness is what ultimately matters to consumers.
“It’s not even about competition, it’s about what’s gonna have your hair growing,” Cardi said. “Like, I use Cécred and it’s very f*ing good! And that’s what I want…I want people to be like, ‘Yo, her st is really f***ing good!’ I don’t want nobody to complain.”
She also shared insights into her personal haircare routine, which she has showcased on live streams since 2016. Cardi revealed a traditional “Dominican recipe” involving boiled onions, a natural remedy she credits for her hair’s health and growth.
Grow Good Beauty’s pre-sale in March 2026 was met with overwhelming demand, selling out quickly. The official online launch is scheduled for April 15, featuring a range of products including shampoos, conditioners, and serums, with prices starting at $14.99.
