Fans of “Game of Thrones” have reason to celebrate as Lena Headey is set to appear in the upcoming third season of Netflix’s hit series “Wednesday.” The streaming giant recently confirmed her guest-starring role, adding to an already impressive lineup of new faces.
Joining Headey in Season 3 are Andrew McCarthy, known for his role in “The Resident,” and James Lance, who portrayed journalist Trent Crimm on “Ted Lasso.” While the specifics of their characters remain under wraps, their involvement has sparked considerable anticipation.
These guest stars complement previously announced additions such as Winona Ryder (“Stranger Things”), Eva Green (“Penny Dreadful”), Chris Sarandon (“The Princess Bride”), Noah Taylor (“Peaky Blinders”), Oscar Morgan (“A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms”), and Kennedy Moyer (“Task”). Filming for the new season is currently underway in the scenic environs near Dublin, Ireland.

More recently, she starred alongside Gillian Anderson in the now-canceled Netflix Western “The Abandons.” Her diverse television credits also include “Beacon 23,” “White House Plumbers,” and “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.”
