High Sierra Music Festival Announces Complete 2026 Artist Roster

Mark your calendars for July 2-5, as the iconic High Sierra Music Festival returns for its 34th edition, relocating to the scenic Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley, California. This year’s festival promises an eclectic mix of genres including jam, funk, bluegrass, Americana, alternative, and world music, showcasing a thoughtfully assembled lineup of 56 artists. Leading the charge are reggae legends Steel Pulse, the revered sacred steel ensemble The Word, acclaimed bassist Don Was and his Pan-Detroit Ensemble, and the dynamic New Orleans funk and soul group Dumpstaphunk.

Celebrating Legacy and Innovation Through Collaborative Performances

True to its roots of fostering community and musical exploration, High Sierra’s 2026 lineup features a blend of returning favorites and exciting new partnerships. Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz of ALO, who served as last year’s artist-at-large, will headline a special Lebo & Friends supergroup, joined by notable musicians such as George Porter, Jr., Jay Lane, Jennifer Hartswick, and Holly Bowling. Additionally, the funk supergroup The Breaks unites Stanton Moore, Eddie Roberts, and Robert Walter, blending the signature sounds of Galactic, The New Mastersounds, and The Greyboy Allstars. Among the most anticipated additions are Anders Osborne, The Trombone Shorty Foundation Band, Hot Buttered Rum, Arc Iris, and Taper’s Choice, who will debut a new guitarist following the departure of Dave Harrington.
