Even before the music began, the crowd’s energy was unmistakable. Fans arrived dressed as if it were 2003 again-baby tees, retro jerseys, fitted caps, and denim adorned with Baby Phat and South Pole logos were everywhere. These grown-up fans, many now parents, brought a polished flair and a sense of maturity to the nostalgic scene.

Amerie Kicks Off the Night with Timeless Hits

Amerie set the tone for the evening with a smooth and confident performance, proving she still commands the stage with the same charisma and vocal prowess as in her prime.

Her set was a celebration of female empowerment, reminding everyone of her impressive catalog filled with memorable tracks and infectious vibes.

Atlanta’s Finest Keep the Energy Alive

Early in the night, Yung Joc and B5 captivated the audience, setting a high-energy pace. It was a moment of pure nostalgia as fans effortlessly sang along to every lyric.

When Crime Mob took the stage, the atmosphere exploded. The instant “Knuck If You Buck” played, the crowd, including Mama Dee, rapped in unison with electrifying enthusiasm.

Dem Franchize Boys maintained the momentum, and the energy reached a fever pitch when Waka Flocka Flame joined, evoking the wild, carefree spirit of a college party on the brink of chaos-in the best possible way.

Adding to the excitement, Big Meech returned to Atlanta for the first time in twenty years, receiving a warm and enthusiastic welcome from fans.

Bow Wow Brings Back the Feels

When Bow Wow took the stage, the crowd was instantly transported back to their youth. His setlist included fan favorites like “Ghetto Girls,” “Basketball,” and “Like You,” reminding everyone why he earned the title Mr. 106 & Park.

Bringing out mentor Jermaine Dupri was a heartfelt moment, with Bow Wow pausing to acknowledge his influence and support.

Jagged Edge joined the stage for a nostalgic So So Def reunion, performing “Where Da Party At” and igniting the crowd.

Additional performances by Trey Songz, Belly Gang Kushington, and YKNiece turned Bow Wow’s segment into a comprehensive showcase of Atlanta’s vibrant music scene.

In a touching moment, the Atlanta Hawks honored Bow Wow for his eleventh performance at State Farm Arena, and Shad Moss visibly held back tears, moved by the city’s appreciation.
