Emerging talent Momo Boyd confidently announces her arrival with the launch of her inaugural EP, Miss Michigan. This introspective and heartfelt collection delves into themes of self-identity, personal evolution, and heritage.

Following her breakthrough feature on the track “Good Flirts” alongside Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar-a performance that significantly expanded her fanbase and garnered widespread praise-Boyd now turns inward. Miss Michigan serves as both a personal narrative and a homage to her origins.
Rooted in her family’s deep connections to Michigan and Detroit, the EP intertwines nostalgia with self-exploration. Boyd describes the project as “both an introduction and a tribute to where it all started,” highlighting its dual purpose.
While internationally recognized as a member of Infinity Song, this solo endeavor allows Boyd to establish a unique artistic persona. The EP traverses a spectrum of moods-from the poignant vulnerability in “Cold Hands” to the lightheartedness of “Oops.” The track “Big Country” stands out as a warm, heartfelt love song, whereas “She’s A Sweetheart” reflects on the pressures faced by those who constantly give to others.
Accompanying the release, Boyd’s live rendition of “Cold Hands” on COLORS showcases her multifaceted talent as both a singer and guitarist, creating an intimate and captivating atmosphere.
Produced in collaboration with Mikey Freedom Hart, Brandon Shoop, and Khris Riddick-Tynes, Miss Michigan builds upon her previous singles and firmly establishes Boyd as a fresh, visionary voice in contemporary music.
