Amare Stoudemire Talks New ‘STAT’ Book and His Opinion About the Brooklyn Nets [AUDIO]
New York Knicks star Amare Stoudemire sat down with Angie Martinez and Dj Enuff and spoke highly of the Knicks number one fan, Spike Lee, and his want for a big extravagant wedding. When asked his his opinion about the Brooklyn Nets being in New York, he replied, “We,The Knicks are the states team, you know what im saying, We’re the New York Knicks, you know what I mean, they’re The Brooklyn Nets…Yeah they represent the city, but we represent the state”
And after a much needed vacation the bball star is not only training for the up incoming season but also hitting up numerous books store for the release of his new children’s book series, STAT : Standing Tall and Talented. The first book, “Home Court” shares the story of young a Amare and is also an Anti-Bully book for kids 8-13.
“I just wanted to cover certain topics that kids are going through now a days and I wanted to intrigue the youth to read, because I feel it’s very important,” said Stoudemire.
The new series will also feature a book in October and January.
