Yankees sweep Jays! Cano continues 21-game hitting streak!

#YankeesSweep #KurodaGoodLook The NY Yankees swept the Toronto Blue Jays with dominating 6-0 victory, yesterday! Hiroki Kuroda surrendered only four hits, struck out five, and blanked the Jays through the seven-inning rain shortened game! #Kuroda improved his record to 9-7 with a 3.46 ERA! #Tex blasted a two-run HR (19) in the first inning to give the Yankees some cushion!

#CanoHittingStreak #Cano continued his red-hot (career-high) hitting streak, and extended it to 21 games in yesterday’s game! #Cano has brought his average up to .320 with the hitting streak, and also has 21 HR’s, 55 RBI’s, and 62 Runs so far this season!

#CCReturns C.C. Sabathia made his triumphant return to the mound on Tuesday! The #Yankees cruised to a 6-1 victory (over the Jays), and C.C. looked great giving up only four hits, striking out six in six-innings pitched! He sure improved his record to 10-3 with a 3.27 ERA! Rafael Soriano also got his 24th save of the season in that game!
