State Farm Home Run Derby Preview

The MLB All-Star Game 2012 Weekend is on the horizon, and the State Farm Home Run Derby selections have been revealed! The Derby can be watched at mlb.com or on ESPN on July 9th at 8PM! AL captain #Yankees Robinson Cano picked Mark Trumbo, Prince Fielder and Jose Bautista. NL Captain #LADodgers Matt Kemp chose first-timers Giancarlo Stanton, Carlos Beltran and Carlos Gonzalez. #Cano dominated the Derby last year (video below)! The Derby is a big part of the All-Star weekend festivities, but don’t forget about the Taco Bell All-Star Sunday (July 8) featuring SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game, 5 p.m. ET, and Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game, approximately 8:30 ET. Tickets are still available for all the festivities, and check out the full schedule of events below. In other #MLB news, the #Yankees signed a young ‘phenom’ Venezualan catcher.
