New Artist Rapsody

By way of the group Kooley High to getting signed by producer 9th Wonder Jamla Records, Rapsody seems to be filling a void thats been missing. Don’t let the pretty face fool you, Rapsody is straight hip hop in every sense of the word. They way she twirls the word play with her tongue to the free hand motion that just seems to hypnotize you. Not in a bad way but in a way that makes you buy into her stories. I had the pleasure to see her spit her rhymes live after a interview with DJ Enuff (coming soon) and from that moment I knew I had to find her music from beginning. In time where female rappers are not as common as once known, Rapsody seems to be on the right road to make sure no one forgets that they are present. This past Wednesday DJ Enuff played a world exclusive record of Rapsody entitled “Believe Me” which turned twitter upside down with positive review. Yet, through this all Rapsody remained humble with a smile walking through Hot97 as the queen Mary J Blige took notice to her after her interview with Angie Martinez. One thing is for sure, this new breathe of fresh air that is Rapsody will make waves in the industry. Check out her tracks in the bottom.
