Carolina Panthers No. 1 pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, QB Cam Newton, has already broken franchise records for yards in his first two outings!!! He threw for 432 yards this week, and 422 yards in his first week!!! The Panthers lost both match-ups, but wow does this guy have a gun, and he can run! He led the Carolina rush(ing) game with 10 carries for 53 yards and one TD! On a side-bar the Giants let go of WR Steve Smith, and he already made huge contributions with the Panthers; catching six passes from Cam for 156 yards against the Packers!
