The Mav’s win their first ever NBA Championship tonight!!! Jet, Dirk, Tyson, The Matrix, J.J. Barea, and Jason Kidd all put in to make a great team a ‘new’ champion! The spirit of the “true underdog” was felt through the last swish of Dirk’s buckets! Jet was named player of the game with 27 points on 11-16 shooting! Fire! Dirk (Nowitzki) was named NBA Finals MVP and added 21 points, 10 in the fourth quarter! The Mavericks win their first ever Championship, since joining the league in 1980! Jason Kidd, 38, finally got his first ring after 17 years in the league and two NBA Finals losses with the NJ Nets! Besides owner Mark Cuban (little weird), the Mav’s are a great team with a phenomenal coach Rick Carlisle. They hit on all queues with a variety of talent and game! Lebron, Wade, and Bosh will have to get back to the drawing boards. Check out the video’s and pic gallery below!
