H.O.F. Willie Mays AKA The Say Hey Kid is hands-down the best player in MLB history! He played with power, speed, and signature defense (outfield). Today is Willie Mays 80^th Birthday, born May 6, 1931. He played from 1951-1973 for the NY Giants, SF Giants, and the NY Mets. He was a 2X MVP, 24X All-Star, and 12X Gold Glover. He created the infamous ‘basket-catch’ that catapulted the Giants to win the World Series in 1954. He hit 660 HR’s and was only second to Hank Aaron (714) (now 4^th) when he retired. He retired 10^th in RBI’s with 1903. He also retired 29^th for career SB’s (338). Watch the video’s!
