Mos Def to Play Criminal on ‘Dexter’

Brooklyn rapper Mos Def will be appearing in a recurring role in the upcoming sixth season of Showtime’s hit show ‘Dexter. Mos has finalized a deal to appear in a multi-episode arc on the show, which follows Miami serial killer Dexter, a Miami Police Department forensic blood spatter analyst, who murders for good. The MC will play a devoutly religious ex-con whom Dexter helps to find his true calling in life, in the upcoming season of the Emmy Award-winning show. While it is not yet clear how many episodes Mos will appear in, he will be joined by actor Colin Hanks
