The Lakers with Kobe leading the way were just too big for the Hornets. The Celtics strong D(efense), and potent offense served the Knicks, last night. Watch the Highlight videos, Rondo spectacular lay-up, and Kobe big dunk below!
#2 LA Lakers beat the #7 New Orleans Hornets 100-86 to go to (2-1) in the series, last night. Kobe had 30 points, six boards, three steals, and one block. Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum each had about 15 points and 10 boards apiece.
#3 Boston Celtics beat the #6 NY Knicks 113-96 to go to (3-0) in the series, last night. The Knicks were locked down on D held Amar’e to seven points and ‘Melo to 15 points. The Celtics offense was unbelievable led by Rajon Rondo who got a triple-double (15 points, 11 boards, and 20 assists) and a Celtics playoff-record 20 assists. Paul Pierce had 38 points, and Ray Allen 32.
