Hawks escape the Magic

@SportsBata

The #5 Atlanta Hawks narrowly escaped the #4 Orlando Magic attack, 84-81, last night! Hawks Josh Smith started the game with a prolific slam, and ended it with a big block! The Magic came back with a late run that put them one point down. Hawks Joe Johnson came down with a clutch offensive rebound, that forced Magic to foul (Hawks up three). The Magic had one good look at a three that J.J. Redick missed. The season is over the Magic, as the Hawks advance to the next round with that win (4-2 series) to take on the Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls on Monday, May 2. Joe Johnson had 23 point and 10 boards, and Al Horford had 10 points and 12 boards for the Hawks. Watch the highlight reel (Smith dunk at start), and the Smith game-ending block!
