Celtics sweep!

@SportsBata

The Boston Celtics swept the NY Knicks for the first round of the playoffs, yesterday, with a 101-89 win. The Celtics had too much D, and such a strong transition game that the ‘man down’ Knicks could not compete. The Knicks lost Chauncey and basicly Amar’e in game two. Chauncey nevered returned with a sprained knee, and Amar’e played with a sore back. ‘Melo provided some offense for the Knicks with 32 points and nine boards. Stat had 19 points and 12 boards on a dismal 5-20 shooting. Knicks will have to regroup and wait till next year. KG came thru for the Celtics with 26 points and 10 boards. The Celtics had a different leading scorer for each of the four games, and became only the second team to ever accomplish that feat in playoff history! Watch the highlight reel!
