America’s Best Dance Crew

America’s Best Dance Crew Season 6 premiered on MTV last night! My twitter timelines was filled with hysterical tweets about the show and Lil Mama, one of the ABDC’s judges.

Although we all miss watching Jersey Shore on Thursday nights, ABDC fills the gap.

Last night, the five crews who battled it out were, IaMme from Houston, Texas; Phunk Phenomenon from Boston, Eclectic Gentlemen from North Hollywood, Cali, Street Kingdom from L.A, and ReQuest from New Zealand. Quite a few people expressed some confusion about the New Zealand crew via twitter, noting that the show is about America’s best crews not ‘World’s best dance crew.’ Despite such critism, the ladies out of New Zealand killed it. Their style is more on the edge of Jazz Funk and they incorporate a lot of waacking in their choreography. Im excited to see what challenges each crew faces and overcomes throughout the season. @SelenaBailey
