Yankees win Opening Day!

@SportsBata

Soak in the spirit of baseball, enjoy the rawness of NY, and smile because the NY Yankees won Opening Day! Curtis Granderson hit the game-winning HR in the bottom of the 7th inning to make the day. The NY Yankees beat the Detroit Tigers 6-3 today. A-Rod and Derek Jeter looked sharp, scored runs, hit RBI’s. Mark Teixeira added a good three-run blast. C.C. (Sabathia) started for NY, and gave up three runs in six innings. Joba (Chamberlain), Soriano, and Mo (Mariano Rivera) pitched the 7th, 8th, and 9th innings to perfection. It’s a first step for the Yankees, who switched their pitching squad with (up-and-coming) Ivan Nova, Freddy Garcia, and Rafael Soriano. Check out the videos!
