Magic – Bird on Broadway

The intense Magic – Bird rivalry that rocked the 80′s is about to be transformed into a six-character broadway play for 2012. Eric Simonson who wrote the playwright for “Lombardi” is working on the Magic – Bird story. The story will chronicle the lives of Bird and Magic, their rivalry and friendship, from their rookie days until the 1992 USA Dream Team.
“Here are these two, amazing at their craft, inspiring to watch, and yet they couldn’t be more different people,” said Kirmser. “There was a fierce competitiveness between them and yet such a great love and respect.”
