PREMIERE: Oscar Urbina Ft. Mogli the Iceburg ‘Carousel’ [Audio]

Oscar Urbina’s new song “Carousel” that premieres on ThatsEnuff.com tackles an issue that plagues the masses — the pursuit of happiness. Over lazer synths, snares and kick drums, Urbina and Mogli the Iceburg trade poignant introspective lyrics about the discouragement that comes when waiting for the results of hard work to manifest. Urbina likens the experience to the monotony of riding a carousel, rapping,

“Carousels, they be crushing the dreams of many fiends / Addicted to the same routines / I call it the new nicotine.”

On his featured verse, Mogli rhymes about the sacrifices his hip hop pursuits have imposed on his personal life:

“It’s hard right now, I try to adjust but the lifestyle’s new to me / And I don’t hang out with people back home / Because I feel like I’m missing opportunities.”

“Carousel” appears on Urbina’s MP2 Darkness mixtape out on April 11. Stream the new track below.
