This past weekend, the 2015 Afro Punk Festival took place at Brooklyn’s Commodore John Barry Park, and ThatsEnuff‘s very own Tabby T, had the pleasure of being in the midst of all the madness. Just in case you weren’t one of the thousands of festival goers on Saturday or Sunday, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered…
The festive event attracted thousands of patrons who proudly represented who they were with bold attire & style. There were several amazing vendors such as Carol’s Daughter
, and The Very Black Project
, who offered cultural merchandise, an uplifting experience, finger lickin’ food, photo ops, and of course free samples! We all love free sh*t.
Also, live artistry taking place as graphic designers were more than welcome to vandalize the wall adjacent to the ‘Red Stage’.

Countless of people gathered on the green grass of Commodore Park
with their blankets and sheets in hand to lay out and savor the marijuana filled atmosphere and what may be the performances of a lifetime! I must say the most exciting part for me was just to be there witnessing everyone expressing themselves through their fashion without a care in the world in what appeared to be a judgment free zone.
