Chris Brown appeared in court today with girlfriend Karrueche Tran by his side, and pled guilty to misdemeanor assault for an October 2013 incident in Washington D.C. A man by the name of Parker Adams claimed both Chris and his bodyguard had punched him in the face outside of his tour bus after an appearance, which led to Chris spending 2 days in a D.C. jail, followed by 108 days in an L.A. jail for violating probation in the Rihanna case.
Breezy was sentenced to time served today, which means he’s free to go. During his appearance, he issued an apology, and explained that after this incident derailed his career for an entire year, he just wants to put it in the past and get to work on his tour and promo for this forthcoming album.
“To say that he’s been punished severely in this matter is an understatement,” Chris’ attorney, Danny Onorato, said.
Chris’ bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, was also convicted of misdemeanor assault, but has not yet been sentenced.
