9/11 Memorial To Be Open By Anniversary Night [Photo]

With the 13th anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy approaching, the memorial plaza is set to open to the public on that very night. This will be the first time that the general public will be able to visit the grounds on September 11th.

According to ABC News, there will be an anniversary remembrance ceremony during the morning of September 11th for those who have been personally affected by that fateful day. The plaza will then open to the public at 6 p.m. to midnight for those that want to pay their respects.

Visitors will be able to view the twin beams of light poignantly called ‘Tribute in Light’ as well as the grand reflective pools. The lights were first on display in March following the attacks and will shine from dusk till dawn.
