NFL Introduces Harsher Penalties For Those Who Commit Domestic Violence

The NFL has responded to all of the fans and critics complaints on Ray Rice’s two game ban as a result of domestic violence.

They have answered in a big way by introducing a new first offense penalty of a six game suspension for any NFL player that is found guilty as a result of domestic violence.

For any player who dares to make the same mistake twice, a second penalty would result in a lifetime ban. This penalty will not only be for the players, but for all personnel working for the NFL. It will fall under the personal conduct policy.

Commissioner Roger Goodell responded to the response of Rice’s suspension by saying,

“I didn’t get it right. We have to do better.”

Do you think this penalty is too harsh or just right?
