Cleveland Cavaliers Looking To Trade For Former New York Knicks Big Man
Yesterday the rumor mill in Cleveland was HOT as it was being reported that former Cavaliers center Zydrunas Ilgauskas was interested in a comeback with the team he spent 14 seasons with.
Today, those rumors were denied as his agent Herb Rudoy told Shams Charania of RealGM that he is not looking to come back to the NBA.
Needing a reliable center as they traded Anthony Bennett to Minnesota for Kevin Love, the team is looking to get creative to get one.
Even if it means trading for Denver Nuggets big man Timofey Mozgov according to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com.
The Cavaliers are interested in Mozgov mostly because he is cheap, a good player, and has played with Cavs new head coach David Blatt.
Only problem is, Cleveland may not have the assets needed for such a trade. This won’t make them stop their pursuit though.
Who do you think the Cavs should look at to fill their center position?
