One Outraged Twitter User Calls The Ferguson Police Department To Get Answers [Audio]

Protest in all forms have been sweeping the nation since the killing of 18-year-old Mike Brown. From almost a weeks worth of protesting in the streets of Ferguson, Mo and #IfIwasgunneddown photo campaign taking place all over social media platforms; to last nights peaceful red ribbon/arm band protest taking place in 7 different cities across the nations. People have found a way to voice their concerns on countless cases involving police brutality.

Last night a number of people took it a little old school by calling the Ferguson Police Department for answers as to, why they’re using rubber bullets and tear gas on peaceful protesters, the concerns of the autopsy results not yet being reveled to the family and many other things.

In the mist of all things Ferguson that’s been consuming my twitter timeline I can across one recording of a call on of my followers made to the Ferguson PD in relation to what was taking place in the city.

When asked why and what made him call the Ferguson Police Department he had this to say:

I decided to call the Ferguson PD a little after 2 AM after seeing their number run down my timeline for like the 30th time. I called 9 times and got a busy signal, but I decided to try one more time. The 10th time was the charm. I just wanted to add my voice to the thousands of people who had called that night. I feel like I’m living in the era of my grandparents where black people were treating as less than human. Hopefully something will be done to ensure that this doesn’t happen again.
