LeBron Set to Face Knicks in First Game Back As a Cav [Details]

Looks like Carmelo and company will serve as witnesses to The King’s return to Cleveland. The New York Knicks announced their upcoming schedule for the 2014-2015 season.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are scheduled to open their season at home against the New York Knicks on October 30 at 8:00pm. This will be LeBron James’s first official game as a Cav since Game 6 of the 2010 Eastern Conference Finals when Cleveland lost to the Boston Celtics 85-94. This will also be for many fans the first official look at Kevin Love in a Cavs uniform. The game will be televised on TNT.

This will be the second half of a back-to-back as the Knicks open their season against Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls at Madison Square Garden the night before on October 29. That game can be see on ESPN. ESPN.com predicts that New York will miss the playoffs for the second season in a row and with Chicago and Cleveland as their first two opponents could very well begin the season 0-2.

How do you think the Knicks will fare? Will they start off with two losses and miss the playoffs or will new look Carmelo stir them in the right direction?
