Bring Back OWN’s ‘Love in The City’

A new petition has been launched in hopes of bringing back OWN’s docu-series‘Love In The City’. The reality show features  Chenoa Maxwell, Tiffany Jones, Bershan Shaw and Kiyah Wright. What we love about the show is that it highlights their love lives, demanding careers and best of all these fours ladies have been best friends for 10 years while taking on New York.

Apparently the network and viewers felt that the show was not relatable and may be getting the boot off the OWN network. The show promotes sisterhood, unity and independence compared to some of the “ratchet” reality shows that are on TV. The cast members are asking fans to write to Oprah to convince her that the show is worth saving. They posted this message:

Hello Friends: Hope your summer is full of smiles.  It’s been a while between hello’s for some of us but, wanted to thank you for sharing your Excitement, Feedback & Support. Many of you are asking…”Is Love In The City returning for a Season 2?”  We certainly hope so, because…there’s so much more to share!  But, unfortunately hopes alone never cement a deal.  So, the best way to ensure the shows return is if @Oprah @OWNTV hears directly from you!

‘Love In The City’ fans if you love the show and want a season 2, head over to their Facebook page Save Love In The City. This show definitely needs a season 2!!
