New York Knicks Agree To Trade Wayne Ellington To Sacramento Kings

Earlier today it was reported that the New York Knicks was looking to trade newly acquired guard Wayne Ellington.

Phil Jackson has finally found a trade partner.

According to Sam Amick of USA Today, Knicks will trade Wayne Ellington, forward Jeremy Tyler and a 2016 second-round pick to the Sacramento Kings for forward Quincy Acy and Travis Outlaw.

The protection on the second round pick (picks 31-37) will be removed as part of the deal.

As part of the deal, the Knicks agreed to remove the protection (picks 31-37) on the 2016 second-round draft pick they sent to Sacramento in 2013.

Frank Isola of the New York Daily News is reporting that this may not be an end to  future Prigioni trade rumors as he may still move the point guard.
