Former New York Knicks Forward Metta World Peace To Play In China Next Season
Former New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers players Metta World Peace will be spending this next season in China.
According to Sina, a Chinese news website World Peace has reached an agreement in principle with the Sichuan Blue Whales and earn close to $1.3 million.
The 34-year-old basically confirmed the rumors with a tweet early this morning.

He experienced a rough season with the Knicks averaging 4.8 points and 2 rebounds per game in limited action before agreeing to a buyout with the team.
Over his career 14 year career with the Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets, Lakers, and Knicks World Peace is averaging 13.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game.
The forward has reached an agreement in principle with Chinese team Sichuan Blue Whales. General Manager for Sichuan confirmed the agreement to Sports Sina. Metta World Peace will earn something close to $1.300.000.
