New York Giants Welcome Back Super Bowl Hero

The New York Giants are welcoming back a super bowl hero to the team.

David Tyree is returning to the team under the title of director of player development.

According to head coach Tom Coughlin, his role would be to educate the players on different opportunities in the NFL and develop their skills in networking and business.

Tyree said in a statement,

“I guess you could say it’s a second homecoming. I’m grateful to have an experience with Charles Way, seeing his growth, his maturity as a professional. It even, to some degree, has impacted my life personally as a professional.”

In case you need to jog your memory, Tyree made an improbable catch during Super Bowl XLII that allowed Eli Manning to guide the team to a 17-14 championship win over the New England Patriots.
