Kobe Bryant Shows Off His Bat Skills During Celebrity Softball Game [Video]
Maybe this is a sign of better things to come for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Kobe Bryant and his health[ier] ankle played in Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman’s celebrity softball game over the weekend, where he seemed to be moving pretty well. Around the bases at least.
In front of 22,000 he launched a homerun during the event, which could prove that his ankle might finally be feeling much better.
With a new look Lakers team without Pau Gasol (which signed with the Chicago Bulls), LA sure could use the extra help from their older, more injury prone franchise player.
Looking at life after basketball, Kobe could even go the Tracy McGrady route after this showing…. right?
Ok maybe not.
According to the AP, Bryant calls his life after his basketball career to be “scary.”
“You really have to lean on muses and mentors going forward, just as I did as a kid. It’s about having that next wave of things, which is scary as hell, but it’s fun at the same time.”
