Former Destiny’s Child Replacement Arrested For Disorderly Conduct
In one of the more awkward stories of the day, former Destiny’s Child member Farrah Franklin was arrested after what was called a “crazy night.”
According to a police report, NFL player Da’Quan Bowers flew the former singer to Myrtle Beach to party. Allegedly Franklin drank a bit too much as by the time they returned to Bowers’ place she began locking herself in the bathroom and possibly doing drugs.
Hanging with another football player Ricky Sapp, the two called the police after they said,
Franklin went nuts, screaming and slamming doors. They told police Franklin fled. Cops combed the neighborhood and eventually found Franklin laying down in a neighbor’s lawn.
Police described Franklin as “highly intoxicated” and “unsteady on her feet,” but she denied using drugs. She told police she had nowhere to go and planned on sleeping in the woods.
She was arrested on $280 bail and then went straight back home to California.
Franklin apparently heard of the news surrounding the arrest and captioned her Instagram page by saying,
To be great, you have to be willing to be mocked, hated, and misunderstood. Stay strong.
