Tracy McGrady Retires From Baseball After Starting All-Star Game [Video]
Tracy McGrady retired from basketball and decided to chase a childhood dream of playing baseball.
He has been pitching for the independent Sugar Land Skeeters of the Atlantic League and compiled a record of 0-2 with a 6.75 ERA and a grand total of zero strikeouts.
Although those numbers weren’t quite that impressive, his popularity with his fans
earned him a trip to the league’s All-Star Game and participated in their Home Run Derby where he hit a grand total of zero home runs.
Shortly after the appearance, he called it quits for his brief baseball career.
Got to give him his props, he got to accomplish something he always wanted to do. Even if the results weren’t quite what he hoping for.
Check out video of his first appearance below.
