Malaysian Passenger Plane Reportedly Shot Down In Ukraine [Video]

A Malaysian plane was shot down in Ukraine right on the border of Russia earlier today (Thursday) during a flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur.

According to USA Today, the Boeing 777 had 295 people on board and was hit by a missile.

Anton Gerashenko, the adviser, says on his Facebook page the plane was flying at an altitude of 33,000 feet when it was hit Thursday by a missile fired from a BUK launcher, the Associated Press reports.

CNN is reporting that the missile may have came from Russian-made buk according to an assessment from the Ukraine.
