NBA Approves Steve Ballmer’s Bid For The Clippers and Stering Files Law Suit

The selling of the Clippers might be done faster than anyone expected.

Yesterday the NBA approved the bid of Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer. Ballmer bid $2 billion earlier this week.

Belmar still has to be approved by the NBA board of governors before any deal can be finalized.

So you must be wondering whats Donald Sterling think of all of this? Well he is suing the NBA for $1 billion. His lawyers are not to sure about this law suit though.

“We gotta sit down and see how all of this affects us,” Blecher told ESPN.com’s Ramona Shelburne. “We have to think through the whole situation.

“[Shelly’s] saying, ‘If you sue us, we’ll have to pay out of our own money.’ It’s like suing themselves. We have to see whether the law allows that to happen.”

We shall see what happens in the upcoming days but its looking like the Clippers might have a new owner by the end of the summer.
