Donald Sterling Retracts Decision To Sell; ‘Will Fight Til Bloody End’
Donald Sterling has changes his mind yet once again, and he has now chosen to fight NBA’s decision to take away ownership from the the owner. A fight that could last a very long time.
He had previously allowed his wife Shelly Sterling to take offers for the team, to try to get the highest bid by the end of the week before the NBA made its moves to remove the owner.
He will now “fight til the bloody end.”
Sterling’s lawyer Max Blecher told ESPN.
“I don’t know what agreement she has with him, but I’m saying to you today, he disavows anything she’s doing to sell the team,” Blecher said. “He says, ‘It’s my team, and I’ll sell it when and if I get around to it.'”
Asked why Sterling seems to have had a change of heart, Blecher said, “He was in a state of shock at first. Now he’s recovering and he’s much more feisty.”
Throughout this mess, Shelly Sterling is still making moves to try and sell the time by the end of the week.
This may end up being one ugly, and drawn out battle with the NBA pushing the board of governors to a vote June 3.
