The Donald Sterling Saga May Be Nearing An End: Approves Sale Of Franchise
It looks like Donald Sterling will be out of the NBA sooner than later.
The Los Angeles Clippers owner reportedly agreed to allow his wife Shelly negotiate the upcoming sale of the team according to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN.
According to the report, the NBA is adamant that 100% of the franchise is sold to somebody else.
Earlier this week, NBA commissioner Adam Silver defended his actions against Sterling, and announced that he will proceed with his actions on a May 27 proceeding.
Sterling has owned the Los Angeles Clippers since 1982 when he bought it for $12.5 million.
