Elementary Students Poisons Student During Class Arrested (Details)

This is the second day in a row where I’m writing about an incident happening at a Elementary school. This time two boys at Brooklyn Elementary school, ages 9 and 12, was arrested after poisoning their teacher. They two put rat pellets into the water of said teacher. After taking a drink she felt nauseous and took the bottle immediately to the principal then head to the doctor. Another student told their mother they saw the boys’ put the pellets in the water bottle and the child parent called the school with the information. The two boys are being charged with criminal possession of a weapon, reckless endangerment, and attempted assault. They will be tried in court as juveniles. Apparently they pulled this stunt to see what would happen. The Department of Education had this to say:

We are greatly relieved that the teacher is recovering and we continue to closely monitor this situation. Ensuring the safety of our entire schools community is our priority, and while this matter is still under investigation, we will take swift and appropriate action.

Leave us your thoughts on this matter below.
