49ers Star Pleads No Contest To Six Different Charges
San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith has pleaded no contest to six separate charges.
San Jose Mercury News is reporting that he is pleading guilty to possessing an assault weapon, and three counts of DUI.
The assault weapons charge was filed in October while the DUI happened is September.
On top of that, he is facing a likely suspension from the NFL for violating the leagues personal conduct policy.
Aldon will be sentenced on July 25. He is facing over four years in prison with the charges.
Last season he had 34 tackles, 8.5 of them being sacks.
