One Of This Offseason’s Free Agents Signs With Boston Red Sox

It took a whole offseason, but the Boston Red Sox finally got their man back.

The team has reached an agreement to sign shortstop Stephen Drew for the rest of the season. He will be paid the prorated version of $14.1 MILLIO which is the offer made to him earlier in the offseason. That mean he gets paid just over $10 million for this season.

Current shortstop Xander Bogaerts will move to third base with the signing.

He batted .253 with 13 homeruns and 67 rbi’s last season with the team.
