Roger Mason Says LeBron James Will Sit Out If Donald Sterling Is Still Owner [Video]
Vice President of the NBA Players Association Roger Mason Jr. went on the Jim Rome show yesterday, and discussed the players stance on Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling’s comments regarding minorities and Magic Johnson.
In strong and confident words Mason Jr. stated that LeBron James, the face of the NBA at the moment, will not play unless he no longer owns the Clippers team.
The NBA is looking at a long and complicated battle, although as Sterling said in a sit-down interview he may not fight due to his age.
James did comment on those comments after last nights win against the Brooklyn Nets.
“We don’t know what’s going to happen. We know what we want to happen. I know the legal process is a pain, so we’ll see.”
