Houston Texans Andre Johnson On His Future: ‘Is This The Place For Me?

Andre Johnson has his mind on playing next season, but not for the Houston Texans.

All of this offseason’s moves have upset their longest tenured player, and number one receiver. Enough to want a fresh start in a new city.

Speaking to the Houston Chronicle Johnson said,

“I just look at my career. … I’ve only been to the playoffs twice. I think we’ve only had three winning seasons. f I don’t think any player wants to experience that. I think over time it can become very frustrating.”

“And this offseason has been very frustrating for me; beginning of the offseason, I should say. That’s just kind of where I’m at right now.”

Johnson wants to win, and I can’t blame him one bit. Last season was a complete failure for the Texans, who are now looking to rebuild with a new quarterback and a rebuilt defense, that could prove deadly with Clowney and Watt on the line.

If I were the New York Jets, I’d place a little phone call and see what the price is.
