With Johnny Manziel’s Arrival; Vince Young Gets Released From Cleveland Browns
Vince Young’s comeback has been (for the moment) temporarily derailed, as the Cleveland Browns announced his released earlier today.
His releases comes from the team taking former Heisman winner, Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel with the 22nd overall pick in the NFL draft.
Young signed with the team May 1, and barely got a chance to show off his skills before he was asked to leave today. He is looking for a team to give him a chance to prove his skill set.
Other players to have been released from the Browns today are defensive back Brandon Hughes, defensive lineman Brian Sanford, quarterback Alex Tanney, and running back Fozzy Whitaker.
