Porsha Williams Apologizes for Preaching That Gays and Lesbians Need to Be Saved

Real Housewives Of Atlanta reality star, Porsha Williams is in the hot seat!

TMZ has released a camera shot video of the ‘Flatline’ singer preaching at the High Praise Christian Center Ministries in her home town on saving others from their sins. The video clip went viral slowly damaging her singing career. Comparing the LGBT community to hookers and drug dealers, she had a lot more to say:

Don’t let the devil tell you, you ain’t worthy of God’s blessings. He wants to use you no matter what. That’s why us Christians need to be telling the hooker on the street, the drug dealer, the person who in the hospital who’s trying to commit suicide, the gays, the lesbians…we’re supposed to be trying to save them and tell them that you are worthy. God can use you! God can use me! We gotta use humility. You need to tell someone how you lived your life at first. Don’t act perfect.[…]Live for God. Stand on His Word. Don’t just read it and keep it for yourself.

Porsha released an apologetic video retracting her statements.

“My heart was heavy, and it’s imperative for me to address the issue,” Williams said in a video message. “God loves all of his children.”

“The sermon was shown not in its entirety; therefore the message was omitted,” Williams says in her statement. “I apologize that those words hurt the LGBT community, my fans and my supporters. Life is a journey, and I’m growing every day.”
