Win or Go Home! Recap of Last Nights NBA Game 7 Match Ups [Video]

In an incredible sports Saturday that featured some NHL playoff games, the Kentucky Derby, and a Floyd Mayweather fight, there was also an unprecedented three Game 7’s in the NBA playoffs. Indiana Pacers vs the Atlanta Hawks, Oklahoma City Thunder vs The Memphis Grizzlies, and the L.A. Clippers vs the Golden State Warriors.

All three home teams (Pacers, OKC, and the Clippers) won, keeping their championship hopes alive.

The Pacers finally looked like a one seed last night against a Hawks team who could not make a three to save their lives. It really made you wonder why it took Indiana 7 games to finish off this weak Hawks team. Never the less they got it done off of the play of Paul George who came up big with 30 points 11 rebounds and 2 steals. The Pacers defeated the Hawks 92-89 and will take on the Washington Wizards in the next round. Check out the highlights below.

Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook put all of Oklahoma on their shoulders and ran through the Memphis Grizzlies. Durant dropped 33 points and grabbed eight boards, while Westbrook pulled off an impressive triple double with 27 points, 16 assists and 10 boards. OKC did have an advantage coming into this game. Grizzlies star forward Zach Randolph was suspended for Game 7 after throwing a punch in game 6, also Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley was fighting through a ham string injury. The Thunder defeated the Grizzlies 109-120. Check out the highlights below.

The last match up of the night was between the Clippers and Warriors in a nail biter. Steph Curry came to play dropping 33 points but that was the only big performance out of the Warriors team. Blake Griffin and Chris Paul put on a show for the home crowd scoring 24 and 22 points respectively. Even JJ Redick got in the action scoring 20 points. It seams as if the Clippers are growing stronger as a team through out this whole Sterling controversy. The Clippers defeated the Warriors 121-126. Check out the highlights below.

There are two more game 7 match ups tonight. Brooklyn Nets will take on the Toronto Raptors and The San Antonio Spurs will face the Dallas Mavericks.
