Chris Brown’s Trial Delayed Until Wednesday After His Bodyguard Was Found Guilty Karrueche, Bow Wow And Tank Lend Their Support [Photo]
WASHINGTON —Chris Brown’s trial has been delayed until Wednesday at which time lawyers for both sides can determine if bodyguard Christopher Hollosy will testify. He is Brown’s key witness.
Hollosy was found guilty of misdemeanor assault on Monday after a judge ruled that there was no evidence to support the victim was trying to attack the singer.
Hollosy will be sentenced on June 25. Brown will remain in U.S. Marshal custody until the next hearing on Wednesday.
Both men are charged with misdemeanor assault. A Maryland man says they punched him outside a Washington hotel in October.
Hollosy told police he punched the man after the man tried to get on Brown’s tour bus.
Court papers say the man’s nose was fractured. Brown has denied hitting the man.
A guilty verdict would be significant for the Grammy winner. Besides jail time in DC, he could face additional penalties, including jail time in California.
Bow Wow, Karrueche, Tank and Browns Mom, Joyce Hawkins, have all attended Browns trail this past week to show their support.
