Former NBA Player Accused Of Rape After Night At Greenhouse
Former New York Knicks and Washington Wizards guard Larry Hughes has been accused of an alleged rape in New York City.
A woman who reportedly was picked up at Greenhouse in SoHo accused the former basketball player of doing the crime at a nearby hotel.
According to the report, “video shows the two of them walking to the nearby hotel. Sources said he did not appear to be forcing her.”
After she left the hotel she went to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell with a friend and told doctors she had been raped, sources said.
Police went to the hotel to talk to Hughes, 35, who was led away in handcuffs because he didn’t want to go with cops.
Hughes, who played with the Knicks during the 2009-10 season, has not been charged.
According to TMZ “Hughes is the majority owner of Greenhouse nightclub … and has taken over all operations from previous owner/operator Barry Mullineaux who resigned back in January.”
