Kobe Bryant Documentary Coming To Showtime
Kobe Bryant has been very open about the state of the Los Angeles Lakers this season as he tried to recover from a lateral tibial plateau fracture in his left knee, and the team fell to 27-55 record on the season.
That openness will allow Bryant to be the star of a feature-length documentary which will air this fail on Showtime.
According to The Hollywood Reporter Muse,
The wide-ranging documentary is being billed as an “in-depth look” at Bryant’s life, inspirations and challenges as he prepares for his return to the NBA next season and as he contemplates life after sports. Kobe Bryant’s Muse will also highlight Bryant’s successes and challenges during his professional life and bring to light lesser-known aspects of his career. Though no specifics were given, Showtime promises that Bryant’s “personal journey” will also be detailed.
The documentary will be directed by Gotham Chopra who also was the man behind ESPN’s 30 for 30 film The Little Master.
Sounds like it could be very interesting. What do you think?
