Carmelo Anthony To Miss Rest Of Season With Labrum Tear
New York Knicks will complete their disappointing 2014 campaign with their star player on the bench.
The team announced that Carmelo Anthony has a small tear in his right labrum which does not require surgery.
As a result he will miss the rest of the season (two games), and rest the arm before getting re-evaluated again in a month according to ESPN.
With Melo a free agent, that could mean that fans may never see their hometown player in a Knicks jersey again.
Knicks play the Nets tonight (April 15) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
